Design and Consulting
We are flexible and creative in all aspects of design work. We can turn your ideas into reality. Our artists have the complete range of design skills, from current design technology to classical painting and sculpting skills. Plus, we are fabricators as well as designers, so our design work is responsive to your actual needs and budget.
We can also work with designs that you provide. We can develop production plans and bid specifications to help move your project forward.
If you just want to discuss your project, at any stage from idea to completion, we are happy to offer our knowledge of materials and processes on a consultation basis.
If you have an idea for a product but just don’t know where to start, we have a lot of resources to bring to the table. This kind of research and development is where we really like to let our creativity loose.
Our hourly rate for design and consulting work is $65.00.
Permitting
Depending on the location, outdoor signage is subject to different kinds of local regulations. Signcraft has years of experience dealing with Anne Arundel County, the City of Annapolis, and the Annapolis Historic District Commission. We can consult with you to help make sure your sign plan will be approved by the appropriate jurisdiction, including providing engineers’ certifications where required.
We also offer full permit expediting services in these jurisdictions for a flat fee of $450.00.
We will review your plans and prepare the submittal, including site drawings, photoshop renditions of proposed work, detailed copies of all specifications and certifications where required.
For permits within the Annapolis Historic District we will attend the Commission hearing on your behalf.
These are the closest locations to us, but we have also worked with many other areas and will be glad to help with any permitting issues.
Installation and General Contracting
We install signs. We install signs that we make, and we install signs that other sign companies can’t or won’t install. We install interior and exterior vinyl graphics, including window lettering and boat names. We can hang banners, dig post holes, do concrete work and carpentry. If we can’t do it ourselves, we’ll locate and hire reliable outside contractors to do anything that’s needed to get your sign or display into the public eye.
The cost for installation projects varies. We’ll be glad to give you an estimate.
Welding
We offer aluminum and steel welding services. This can be used to create structural aspects for your project or to repair an existing work.
